Every year, $24,000 in scholarships is given out by the AREA organization. These scholarships award various students within member school districts, enabling them the possibility to pursue higher education. The AREA is proud to be able to assist students in achieving their dreams.
This scholarship is for Paraprofessionals who are employed by an AREA member school district. This $1000 scholarship is renewable for two years, provided the Paraprofessional maintains AREA requirements. This year, we have two South recipients and one North recipient.
AREA North Recipient: Alicia Rose, Southside Bee Branch School District
